Bee Netting: Safeguarding Seedless Mandarins

As we speak hundreds of acres of San Joaquin Valley seedless mandarin and clementine groves are being covered with Wilson Bee Netting to keep them seedless.

Bee Netting keeps bees from cross pollinating blossoms with pollen from other types of citrus, which would create fruit that is full of seeds.

We want to say, “Thank You” to all of the growers who chose Wilson Bee Netting in 2011, “Sorry” to the growers who wanted to order from us but we were overbooked on production, and “Welcome” to all of the new seedless clementine and mandarin growers we will work with in 2011/2012!
